Bhoj varsity registrar thrashed by his deputy

Bhopal: The registrar of Bhoj Open University on Monday lodged a complaint at Bagsewaniya police station against the university deputy registrar for allegedly entering his house and thrashed him. Following the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case under sections 452, 294, 323 and 506 of the IPC while a counter FIR was got registered against the registrar under same charges by the deputy registrar.

SHO, Bagsewaniya, Dinesh Joshi said the complainant B Bharti, residence of F- 8 in Adhikari Awas colony on Barkatullah University premises, was recently appointed as registrar at Bhoj University.

In his complaint he told police that on Monday morning at around 11am, accused Rakesh Chauhan, who is posted as deputy registrar in Bhoj University, allegedly entered his house and started misbehaving Chauhan also allegedly bashed him up saying that how did he manage to get promoted as registrar of the university from the post of deputy registrar. Later, Chauhan also reached Bagsewaniya police station and lodged a cross complaint against Bharti. Police have registered a counter FIR in the case and started further investigation into the case.
