KHARGONE/ KHETYA/ MANAWAR : After celebrating the festival of lights Deepawali- with great enthusiasm, people celebrated Gowardhan Puja and Bhai Dooj with religious fervor across states. There were several reports of celebration of Deepawali with peace and enthusiasm across states. People also shared their joy with poor and distributed sweets, clothes and firecrackers among the children of slums area and orphanages.
Sweets, clothes distributed
AT KHACHROD, Congress leader and national organizing secretary of Dhakad Yuva Mahasabha Sanjay Nandeda along with his supporters – Paras Dhakad, Santosh Mehata, Ajay Harra, Santosh , Madhusudhan Dhakad, Mangal Dhakad and Sachin Harra distributed sweets and clothes among poor. Festival of Bhaiduj was also celebrated with great joy. Sisters applied Tilak on forehead on their brothers and wished them success in the life. Delicious food and special gift for sisters from their brothers was also part of the Bhaiduj celebrations.
Huge rangoli drawn
KHETIYA: A guge rangoli depicting brother-sister celebrating ‘Bhaiduj’ was drawn here. The festival of Bhaiduj was celebrated with great enthusiasm here.
Gowardhan Puja celebrated
SONKUTCH: Padwa and Gowardhan Puja was celebrated with great zeal in rural areas of Sonkutch. Cows were decorated with were given special food after performing aarati. Juniors sought blessings from their elders..
Bull fight organised at Manawar
MANAWAR: Festival of Gowardhan Padwa and Bahaiduj were celebrated with great enthusiasm in Manawar. A fight between bulls of Indu Bhai Dhangar and Ganpat Patidar was also organized on the occasion. Indu Bhai’s bull won the fight.
