BHOPAL : Sensation prevailed in the Devki Nagar area within the limits of Karond police station on Tuesday morning after the emergency alarm of the Bank of India Karond branch located in Devki Nagar started buzzing.
The information reached Nishatpura police station after which a police party was sent for investigations. Later it was confirmed that the alarm went off due to some technical fault. A large crowd gathered outside the bank sensing some suspicious activity.
TI Nishatpura Rajeev Jangle said that information was received around 8.30 am in the morning on Tuesday that the alarm of Bank of India Karond branch located at Plot no 182, ward no 66, Devki Nagar, Berasia Road, in front of Krishi Upaj Mandi Main Gate, Karond was buzzing. Immediately the Charlie patrol party was sent to the spot for investigations.
The patrol party reached the spot and after investigations called the bank management officials.
