Chhatarpur (Madhya Pradesh): Peethadheeshwar of Bageshwar Dham, Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, launched a strong verbal attack on Pakistan during his visit to the Mote Mahavir Temple for Shri Laxmi-Narayan Mahayagna in Chhatarpur on Sunday. Addressing the media, he praised the Indian Army and expressed pride for Colonel Sofia Qureshi, a native of Nowgong, Chhatarpur.
Calling Pakistan a spoiled child, he said, “Like a dog’s tail remains crooked, Pakistan too will never change. It violates ceasefires regardless of agreements. The only language it understands is action, and entering their territory is the only solution.”
He took a jibe at Pakistan’s hollow celebrations. “They burst crackers claiming victory without even a battle. Only in Pakistan can such a celebration happen,” he said, adding, “Our army was celebrating a mini-Diwali two days ago with real valour.”
He lauded Colonel Sofia Qureshi as pride of India, calling her a modern-day Maharani Laxmibai. “She proves our daughters are no less than sons,” he said.
He urged to set up training centres in every village and town. “Preparation is more vital than recruitment. Boys and girls should be ready to defend the nation if needed,” he asserted, encouraging patriotic youths to stand shoulder to shoulder with Indian Army.
The Mahayagna drew a massive crowd, with devotees applauding Maharaj Shastri’s statements and patriotism.
