Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Stung by the controversy over the alleged 90-degree curve on Aishbagh Overbridge, the Public Works Department (PWD) has directed all Chief Engineers to submit details of bridges, flyovers, elevated corridors, and ROBs with potentially dangerous curves.

Specifically, PWD wants information on inadequate turning radii, lack of transition lengths, insufficient internal/external widening on turns, and absence of super elevation as per vehicle speed.

The move aims to identify design flaws that could contribute to road accidents. Engineers have been asked to provide the data within three days. The department sees this as a corrective step to address structural safety concerns.
