BHOPAL: Ajit Jha, member of national executive body of the Aam Aadmi Party ( AAP) said the party will not tie up with Congress or any other political party in the state during the Lok Sabha polls. Jha was interacting with media in a function organised at adgar- e- Shahjehani Park to mark conclusion of Swaraj atra on Sunday.

He said, ” AAP will go on its own in the general elections maintaining its own identity and ideology – fight against corruption. There will be no compromise on our issues.” Replying to a volley of questions about how many Lok Sabha seats the AAP will contest, he said, ” It is quite premature to comment on it. At present, we are concentrating on membership drive. We have a target to make 1 crore members in the country till January 26. For Lok Sabha elections, we have told the aspirants to file their application and we will announce the name of the candidates and seek the public view about them before finalising.

We have done it in Delhi, last moment, we withdrew our candidate. We had contested on 69 constituencies instead of 70 because of public complaint.” Regarding differences in AAP, Jha said, ” it is a natural thing and we will solve it with harmony. In mass democratic political system, when any party comes in existence, differences happens as people from various fields join hands. It is not a big issue. We can not ignore it but simultaneously I can assure you we will manage it.” AAP state spokesman Akshay Hunka urged the people to resign from their jobs and be dedicated to AAP as they have to make sacrifices for the country. For the three months, they should somehow sustain their families but for the sake of the country, they should come forward and raise the voice of voiceless people, he added.

From 2008 to 2013, 1 crore students appeared in recruitment test and just because of corruption, they have been deprived of opportunity.
