70 million saplings planted to mark Hariyali Mahotsav

The Malwa Nimad region on Thursday observed the last day of the much talked ‘ Hariyali Mahotsav’by planting plenty of saplings all over. Plantation kick started in school premises, followed by grounds offered private institutions and many other places. More than 70 millions saplings are expected to have been planted in the state during the week long Hariyali Mahotsav.

Garoth: The members of ‘ Krushi Upaj Mandi Samiti, including the chairman of the Samiti, Kailash Bai and municipality president Rajesh Chaudhry celebrated Hariyali Mahotsav.

Alirajpur: Under the joint aegis of the district administration and Aajivika Mission, saplings were planted in the Sankuls all over the town.

During the first stage of the program, 10 Sankul and 16 villages were included. As per the district manager of the mission, Devendra Shrivastava, this program continued for a week by the mission.

Manawar: Saplings were planted in the development block education office and Janpad educational center, under the Hariyali Mahotsav, in the presence of development block education officer KC Chauhan.

Bhikangaon: Tree plantation was observed in the premises of Mukti- Dham, in the presence of local MLA Jhuma Solanki, sub- divisional revenue officer KK Malviya, members of Lions Club and many more. 200 plants were planted.

Kukshi: As per the instructions of the collector, tree plantation was done by the officials, including sub- divisional revenue officer Rekha Rathod. 100 saplings were planted initially.

Similarly, 5000 plants were planted under the Hariyali Mahotsav at Bawariya Falya.

Dhar: Press club of Dhar celebrated Hariyali Mahotsav in the presence of collector CB Singh as the chief guest.

Gandhwani – As per the direction of collector CB Singh, around 8000 saplings were planted under the ‘ Hariyali Mahotsav’ on Thursday in the four Panchayat o Gandhwani Janpad Panchayat.

1.46 lakhs saplings planted Khargone: With the aim of making the state green, CM launched ‘ Hariyali Mahotsav’, wherein a target to plant 1 crore saplings was set. Thus, in order to accomplish this, the Khargone district has also contributed and planted 1.46 saplings. This was stated by MLA Bal Krishna Patidar while addressing during the plantation programme organised at school of excellence. Along with the school, the platation programme was held at various places in the district.
