3-day 37th annual conference of SRs/MRs from today

Ratlam : 37th annual conference of the Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh Medical and Sales Representative Union will be held here for three days from July 4.Giving this information the President of the Ratlam unit and  Vice Chairman of the Reception Committee Ashwini Sharma said that the three day long conference will be inaugurated by All India General Secretary Alok Banerjee. While, All India President of CITU A K Padmanabhan will preside over. Sharma said that delegates from all over MP and Chhatisgarh will take part and discussions will take place on many vital issues.

He said that a meeting of the executive committee of the Union was held today in which issues to be discussed in the three day long sessions were decided and a booklet was also released. On this occasion state general Secretary Sheilendra Sharma was also present. Sharma said that on July 5 the All Indian president R Vishvanathan will address the delegates. He said that while the demands included fixation of the minimum wages and others but in the conference the issue pertaining to public like reduction the prices of the essential drugs will also be discussed and demand will be raised to reduce the taxes on the essential drugs. Sharma said that for the first time such an important conference of the Medical and Sales Representatives of MP and Chhatisgarh is being held in Malwa area and on the last day of the conference elections of the office bearers will also take place. He said that Eminent Physician Dr. J M Subhedar who is chairman of the conference will also address the conference.

The reception committee included senior trade union leaders of the city who will also participate in the conference and may deliver their views on the common issues. Sharma hoped that the three day long conference will deliberate on vital issues and will reach to the conclusion for strategy to be adopted for the acceptance of the six point charter of demands.
