Rewa (Madhya Pradesh): Two people lost their lives and six were injured after a speeding bus rammed into a divider in Rewa on Wednesday.
According to information, the accident occurred on the night of Wednesday. The intense collision resulted in the deaths of two passengers on the spot, while six others were injured.
The accident occurred at Saman Over Bridge, allegedly after the driver fell asleep at the wheel. The injured passengers were rushed to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in Rewa, where their condition is reported to be stable.
The police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.

According to information, the bus was going from Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh to Ahmedabad via Surat on the intervening night of Wednesday-Thursday. While on the way, the driver fell asleep around 2 am and the bus collided with a divider on Saman Over Bridge.
The two passengers died on the spot while six others sustained injuries. Upon receiving the information, police reached the spot and sent the injured to the Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in Rewa for treatment. The injured condition are stable as of now.
The police are currently trying to identify the accused. Further investigations are underway.
Reportedly, the bus stopped on its own after hitting the divider; otherwise, the consequences could have been more drastic.
