17-Year-Old Girl Kidnapped, Assaulted In Gwalior; Accused Held

Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A seventeen-year-old girl was held hostage and assaulted in an empty house in Gwalior on Tuesday.

The police have registered an FIR and arrested the accused.

According to information, the incident took place in the Karhaiya police station area under the Bhitarwar section of Gwalior.

The teenage girl, who lives near the village, was taken to an empty house by her neighbor, Akash Sen.

He allegedly held her captive and assaulted her. After the incident, he threatened to kill her if she told anyone.

Upon reaching home, she gathered the courage to inform her family about the horrific incident. Her parents immediately took her to the police station, where the authorities registered an FIR against the accused under relevant legal sections.

The police acted swiftly and arrested Akash Sen. He has been taken into custody and is now being presented before the court for further legal proceedings.

The police are continuing their investigation to ensure justice for the victim.
