Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): About 10% of the tuition fee will be deducted from the refund if allotted seats in Ayush admission are cancelled. Only caution money will be fully refunded.

Tuition fee ranges from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 3.5 lakh per year. Thus, the deduction will be up to Rs 35,000. Over 4,200 undergraduate seats are available across approximately 66 AYUSH colleges in the state.

The AYUSH Department of the Madhya Pradesh government has issued notification regarding admission rules for undergraduate courses in Ayurveda, homeopathy and Unani medicine.

As per MP Gazette notification, only caution money is refundable if admission is cancelled after the third round of counselling but tuition fee will be deducted by 10%.

Under these rules, admissions for 2026-27 session in nine government and approximately 57 private AYUSH medical colleges in the state including Bhopal, Ujjain, Gwalior, Indore, Jabalpur, Burhanpur, Rewa, Chhatarpur, Shivpuri, Ratlam, and Mandsaur, are to be conducted via NEET.

Dr Rakesh Pandey, national spokesperson for AYUSH Medical Association, said, Even if admission is cancelled prior to the final round of counselling, maximum of Rs 10,000 should be deducted. This policy should apply to both government and private AYUSH colleges.

He said that approximately 70% of the students were from economically weaker farming families. Therefore, if they cancel their admission for any reason, a full refund of their fees should be made, he added.
