JSW MG Motor India has taken a major step towards sustainability by becoming the first OEM in India to introduce a Green Pretreatment line in its paint shop. This eco-friendly process uses ambient temperature phosphate at 38°C, developed in collaboration with PPG Asian Paints, as part of the Pretreatment Electrodeposition (PT-ED) line.

The new system significantly lowers energy consumption, reducing carbon emissions by approximately 1,800 tons per year compared to traditional methods that operate at 42–50°C. This initiative reinforces the company's commitment to environmentally responsible manufacturing.
