Swati Rao is a seasoned library and knowledge-management professional with over 32 years of experience across leading corporate and educational institutions. Currently serving as Associate Vice President – Library at HDFC AMC, she has previously held senior library leadership roles at HDFC Bank and HDFC Ltd. Her work has focused on modernising traditional libraries, developing digital information resources, curating knowledge, and fostering a strong culture of reading and continuous learning within organisations. With extensive experience spanning the transition from conventional libraries to digital knowledge centres, she brings a valuable perspective to the conversation on the importance and evolving role of libraries in the age of Artificial Intelligence.
