Bollywood beauties are all set to make stunning appearances at the 71st Cannes Film Festival which will start from May 8 to May 19. At Cannes, India is not new, B-town beauties such as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor have been attendees of the festival for years now. And now they are again set to walk at the red carpet where they will represent beauty brand L’Oreal yet again. The two will be joined by Deepika Padukone.
Aishwarya and Sonam had earlier mesmerised people with their red-carpet appearances. It will be interesting to see what outfits the gorgeous ladies wear in order to stun people with their looks. Talking about their appearances, Deepika will walk at the red carpet on May 10 and 11; Aishwarya who will be attending the event for the 17th time will be present on May 12 and 13 while Sonam will attend the festival on May 14 and 15. Celebrity fashion designer Manish Malhotra is set to make his debut at the Cannes Film Festival in association with Magnum where he is going to gift an exclusive accessory to international model Bella Hadid. The designer has designed for the likes of Kareena Kapoor Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and several Bollywood divas.
Meanwhile, the French Riviera will be special as this year 20 female filmmakers will make their debut at the event. This year, other Bollywood actresses such as Kangana Ranaut, Huma Qureshi and Mahira Khan will make their debut. Mahira will walk the Cannes 2018 red carpet during the 12-day event. ‘Queen’ Kangana Ranaut will be attending the event from May 9 to May 11. Kangana will represent an alcohol brand called Grey Goose and she will wear designer Sabyasachi’s creations.
National Award winner Divya Dutta will also make her debut Cannes appearance. She will be leaving on May 10 and will represent the controversial film ‘Manto’. Veteran actress Neena Gupta too will be making her Cannes debut and she will wear outfit designed by her daughter, ace fashion designer Masaba. Sonam Kapoor’s ‘Raanjhana’ co-star Dhanush will also be marking his debut at the Cannes. At the event, he will launch his English-French film ‘The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir.’
