Delhi Protest: Injured Woman Taken Off Ventilator, Shows Steady Recovery at RML Hospital

Delhi's Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital on Wednesday said the 21-year-old woman injured in the reported protest-related incident has shown encouraging clinical improvement. She has been taken off the ventilator and is now breathing on her own. The hospital said she is conscious, responding to commands, and her MRI scans of the brain and spine are normal. Doctors added that her condition continues to improve under close medical supervision, and she remains the only patient admitted to RML Hospital in connection with the incident.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Wednesday after the government agreed to a detailed discussion on the NEET paper leak issue in the Lok Sabha. According to officials, the meeting took place in Parliament shortly after the Centre reiterated its willingness to hold the debate and urged the Speaker to convene an all-party meeting to finalise the rule, date and duration of the discussion.

Why can't the PM give statement in the House when he can make statements outside?"

In Lok Sabha, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju says, "For three days we have been offering that the Government is absolutely ready to have a discussion on NEET paper leak issue. Since day 1 we have been saying that discussions have to be held as per rules. When the discussion is to be held, the duration of the discussion and under what rule the discussion is to be held should be decided after speaking with Floor Leaders of all parties. Govt is ready to have discussion on NEET paper leak issue. There should be a construction discussion for the future of the youth of this country - this is what the Govt wants."
