Rakul Preet Singh’s Brother Aman ARRESTED By Hyderabad Police In Drugs Case, 2.5 Kg Cocaine Seized (VIDEO)

In a shocking turn of events, actress Rakul Preet Singh's brother, Aman Preet Singh, was arrested by Hyderabad Police on Monday, July 15, 2024. Along with Aman, police also detained four Nigerians separately.

The Cyberabad Police held a press meeting on Monday evening to confirm the arrests, including Rakul's brother's Aman. He was arrested in connection with a drug case following a joint operation by the Narcotics Bureau and Rajendra Nagar SOT Police under the jurisdiction of Cyberabad Police.

According to the police report, 200 grams of cocaine worth ₹2 crore were seized from him.

The police shared that 199 grams of cocaine, 2 passports, 2 bikes, and 10 cell phones have been seized in connection with the case. Onuoha Blessing, Azeez Nohaam Adeshola, Alla Satya Venkata Gowtham, Sanaboina Varun Kumar and Mohd Mahaboob Shareef were arrested as accused peddlers while Divine Ebuka Suzee and Ezeonyili Franklin Uchenna have absconded.

A police official said at the meeting that he would only comment on whom Aman is connected to once they investigate the case further. "We need to check when his association began with the accused, who consist of some Indians and Nigerians. Some of them are repeat offenders. But we believe it might be for a year and a half. Aman tested positive for using cocaine. It is confirmed that he’s an actor, he did not say if it’s on Tollywood or elsewhere," added the officer.

Further, the official revealed that, as of now, 13 consumers from Hyderabad who are wealthy are promoting a 'sick ecosystem of drugs' in Telangana.

"They are creating a network of supply and demand for drugs in Hyderabad. Out of the 13 consumers, 6 are apprehended and all the 6 persons got positive reports for cocaine when their urine samples are tested,” the police mentioned in a press note.
