Pune Cops Seize Two SUVs Racing Inside Wagholi Society After Viral Video Surfaces

The Pune Police on Thursday announced on X (formerly Twitter) that they have seized two SUVs and initiated action against their owners after the vehicles were caught racing inside a residential society in Wagholi.

According to the police, the two SUVs — a Mahindra Thar and a Mahindra Scorpio — were seen racing at full speed inside Nyati Elan society in Wagholi on Wednesday, endangering the lives of residents. When stopped by the residents, the two drivers allegedly abused them and even threatened to kill them.

A video of the incident went viral on social media. Additionally, the residents of the society lodged a complaint with the police.

Taking swift action, the Pune Police's traffic department seized the two SUVs and initiated action against their owners.
