According to the visuals, the blaze was seen in the shop located on the ground floor of a residential building and firefighting officials were present at the spot trying to douse the fire. Several residential buildings are seen in the lane where the fire took place, bringing in security concern for residents.

Mumbai: A massive fire broke out on Wednesday, November 19, at the Mubarak building in Kurla West, reportedly triggered by a gas pipeline burst. Videos circulating on social media captured thick envelope of black smoke enguled the area as flames spread rapidly.
The fire started at 1.20 pm on the ground floor shop of the four storey residential building near the LIG Colony in Vinoba Bhave Nagar.
PTI report stated that at least four fire engines and other firefighting vehicles were sent to the spot. Staff from the Mahangar Gas Limited, 108 ambulance service and local ward office were also deployed at the scene, civic officials said as reported by PTI.
Several residential buildings are seen in the lane where the fire took place, bringing in security concern for residents. Currently, no casualities have been reported due to the fire.

Earlier on November 18, a fire broke out at Shiv Thakare's house in the Kolte Patil Verve building Mumbai's Goregaon which caused extensive damage. As per the reports, the actor did not incurre any injury. A statement from the Bigg Boss 16 contestant team read, "@shivthakare9 faced a mishap this morning as there was a fire breakout at his Mumbai residence in the Kolte Patil Verve building. The actor has not incurred any injury, but the house faced the brunt! (sic)"
