'Heart Full Of Gratitude...': Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis' Wife Amruta Bids Farewell To Axis Bank After 23-Year Journey
Amruta Fadnavis, wife of Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, has stepped down as Senior Vice President at Axis Bank after 23 years. She shared a heartfelt note, thanking colleagues and MD & CEO Amitabh Chaudhry, and said she leaves with gratitude, lessons and lifelong friendships.

Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis' wife, Amruta, has stepped down from her role as Senior Vice President at Axis Bank, marking the end of a 23-year-long professional journey with the private sector lender.
Taking to her social media, Amruta Fadnavis said that she joined the bank as a young Management Trainee and steadily rose through the ranks to become Senior Vice President. While announcing her departure, she also expressed gratitude for the opportunities and mentorship she received throughout her tenure and called Axis Bank her “family, teacher, and second home.”

Despite being the wife of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, she has carved out an identity of her own. Apart from being a banker, Fadnavis is a trained classical singer and has released several songs and videos online. She has been a part of both devotional music creations and peppy dance numbers. Her latest song includes Shambhu Re, which has crossed over 10 million views on YouTube. Her other songs include Kisi ki Muskurahaton Pe, Teri Ban Jaungi, Saawan, Maro Dev Bapu Sevalal, among others.
Apart from this, she has also performed at prestigious events worldwide, including her performance at the Mumbai Festival 2024, New York's Times Square during the Bharat Mahotsav in 2023, and the popular award show Umang Police Event 2019, Global Peace Honours 2025. In addition to being a singer, she is also a social activist.

Born on April 9, 1979, in Nagpur, Amruta Fadnavis comes from a family of doctors. Her father, Dr Sharad Ranade, is an Opthalmologist while her mother, Dr Charulata Ranade, is a Gynaecologist.
