Classic Aam Ras Recipe
Prep time: 10–15 minutes
Serves: 2–3
Ingredients:
3 large ripe mangoes (Alphonso or Kesar for best results)
2–3 tablespoons sugar (optional, adjust as per sweetness of mangoes)
1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder (elaichi)
A pinch of saffron strands (optional)
1/4 cup cold milk or water (optional, for consistency)

Peel and chop: Wash, peel, and roughly chop the mangoes. Discard the seeds.
Blend: Add the mango pieces to a blender. Add sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron strands.
Adjust consistency: Blend until smooth. Add a little cold milk or water if the puree is too thick.
Chill & serve: Refrigerate for 10–15 minutes or serve immediately chilled with puris or as a refreshing drink.
