Indore News: Couple Assaulted Inside Baneshwar Kund Temple For 'Inappropriate' Behaviour Inside Premises – VIDEO

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A disturbing incident came to light from Madhya Pradesh’s Indore where a young couple was allegedly assaulted by a group inside a temple.

According to information, the incident occurred at Indore’s Baneshwar Kund Temple after the young couple was allegedly found acting ‘inappropriately’ inside the premises.

According to eyewitnesses, the couple was at Baneshwar Kund Temple. After some time other people found them behaving in an ‘objectionable’ manner inside the temple area. 

As soon as they were spotted, people became angry. They gathered around the couple and confronted them.

After sometime the matter escalated and the crowd started physically assaulting the couple. 

During the incident, several bystanders recorded videos, which later went viral on social media.

Police officials stated that no formal complaint has been filed by either the youth or the young woman. As a result, no action has been taken against those involved so far.

After receiving information, a team from Dial-112 (FRV) reached the spot and took both individuals to the police station for safety and questioning.

The incident has raised concerns about mob behavior and privacy, especially in public and religious places.
