Toxic Event Chaos: Heavy Sound System Pole Falls On Two Students Amid Massive Crowd In Hyderabad, Injuring Them

Kannada actor Yash's much-awaited Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups pre-release event in Hyderabad turned chaotic on Saturday, August 22, after a heavy sound system pole fell on two students amid a massive crowd, leaving them injured. The incident took place at Malla Reddy University, where a large number of students had gathered for the event.

Sound System Pole Falls On 2 Students At Toxic Event

According to several videos circulating on social media, a floodlight or sound system pole collapsed after several people climbed onto it to get a glimpse of Yash as he appeared on stage to address the audience. The structure reportedly fell on two youngsters in the crowded venue, sparking panic as people rushed to help the injured students.

Police personnel present at the venue immediately intervened and shifted the injured youngsters to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Further details about their condition are awaited.

Yash Urges Fans Not To Climb Sound System

Yash, who noticed several young boys climbing onto the sound system, immediately warned them to get down. He could be heard saying, "Aye... careful. Is it okay there? Please check... Please, students, be careful. Get down, please."

He repeatedly asked whether the students were safe and okay.

The Hyderabad event was also attended by Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi and Rukmini Vasanth. Meanwhile, Nayanthara and Tara Sutaria skipped the event. Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups is slated for a theatrical release on August 26.

As of now, Yash is yet to issue a statement or publicly address the incident.
