On Thursday, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai makers had planned a trailer launch event in Mumbai, which was cancelled due to a technical issue. The trailer won't be released online as well.

The makers took to social media to share a statement about the trailer launch being cancelled. The statement read, "We regret to inform you that the trailer launch event for Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, scheduled for today, has been cancelled due to unforeseen technical difficulties. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding and continued support. We look forward to sharing the trailer with you soon. - Team Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai SEE YOU AT THE MOVIES (sic)."

Fans are quite upset with the trailer launch getting cancelled. A fan tweeted, "How 2 Kaudi Ke Production House @tipsofficial Feel After F*cking Up #HaiJawaniTohIshqHonaHai By Not Releasing Chunari Chunari & Title Track First & Now Postponing The Trailer Too (sic)."
