Spider-Man: Brand New Day continued its impressive run at the Indian box office on its eighth day, despite witnessing a routine weekday decline in collections. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film featured Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man alongside Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Florence Pugh, Tramell Tillman, Marisa Tomei and Mark Ruffalo in pivotal roles.

The Marvel superhero film, which hit theatres on July 30, earned an estimated Rs 14.20 crore net on Day 8, registering a 16.5 per cent drop from its Day 7 collection of Rs 17 crore.

According to Sacnilk, Spider-Man: Brand New Day recorded its Day 8 earnings across 16,447 shows nationwide. With this, Spider-Man: Brand New Day has amassed an estimated Rs 334.70 crore net and Rs 400.21 crore gross at the Indian box office.

In Other Languages

The English version remained the film's biggest contributor, collecting around Rs 7.50 crore, followed by the Hindi version with Rs 5.25 crore. The Tamil version earned approximately Rs 90 lakh, while the Telugu version added Rs 50 lakh. The Kannada and Malayalam versions contributed around Rs 3 lakh and Rs 2 lakh, respectively.

Made on an estimated production budget of $225 million (approximately Rs 2,151 crore), Spider-Man: Brand New Day continues to perform strongly across global markets, with India emerging as one of its key international territories.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day Review

The Free Press Journal reviewer gave the movie 3.5 stars and wrote, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day is a solid return for Marvel and a much-needed boost for the MCU. It may not be perfect, but its story, exciting action and Tom Holland's impressive performance make it a satisfying superhero film. If you're a Spider-Man fan, this one is definitely worth watching."
