Actress Shraddha Kapoor, who was last seen in the 2024 film Stree 2, is set to return with a powerful new project. She will next be seen in Eetha, directed by Laxman Utekar, which is based on the life of legendary Maharashtrian Tamasha and Lavani artist Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar, one of the most celebrated names in Marathi folk theatre. Release Date
The release date has been locked for August 28, which happens to be the festival of Rakshabandhan as well.
In 2025, during the filming of Eetha, Shraddha had injured herself, during a Lavani sequence, resulting in a fracture in her left foot. Utekar had also called off the Nashik schedule for two weeks. Reportedly, for the role, the actress had also gained 15 kgs
