Salim Khan, 90, Hospitalised In Mumbai, Worried Salman Khan Spotted Outside Lilavati Hospital With Heavy Security—VIDEO

Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, celebrated for his iconic partnership with Javed Akhtar as the legendary duo Salim-Javed and father of actors Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, and Sohail Khan, has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre in Bandra, Mumbai, located close to the family’s residence at Galaxy Apartments.

Paparazzo Viral Bhayani shared the news on his Instagram handle. On Tuesday, February 17, he posted a video from outside Lilavati Hospital with the caption on the clip reading, "Salim Khan admitted to Lilavati Hospital."

Salman Khan Spotted Outside Hospital

Salman Khan was also spotted outside Lilavati Hospital after visiting his father, Salim Khan. Looking visibly worried, he was seen accompanied by heavy security, dressed in a black T-shirt and pants.

However, the exact reason for his hospitalisation remains unknown, and the family is yet to issue an official statement.

Meanwhile, in November 2025, Salim Khan and Salma Khan celebrated 61 years of marriage, which also coincided with Arpita Khan and Aayush Sharma marking their 11th wedding anniversary.

Salim married Salma in 1964, and they have four children together: three sons, Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan, and one daughter, Alvira. In 1981, Salim married actor Helen.

Salim, a celebrated Indian screenwriter who rose to fame as one half of the iconic duo Salim-Javed. Alongside Javed Akhtar, he redefined Bollywood storytelling in the 1970s and 1980s, penning some of the biggest blockbusters in Indian film history. Their films such as Zanjeer, Sholay, Deewaar, Don, and Trishul, became cultural landmarks and played a pivotal role in making Amitabh Bachchan a Bollywood superstar.

On the work front, Salman will be seen in the film, Battle of Galwan.
