Ranbir Kapoor's Vaping Scene In The Ba***ds Of Bollywood Creates Controversy; Human Rights Commission Urges Mumbai Police To File Case Against Ramayana Actor

In a scene, Ranbir is seen using a vape to smoke, which has now created controversy. The National Human Rights Commission has urged the Mumbai Police to file a case against the actor, producers of the show, and Netflix.
A complaint was filed with the National Human Rights Commission alleging that in a scene, Ranbir is using e-cigarettes on screen without a warning or disclaimer. The National Human Rights Commission has written to the Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, to take appropriate action to prohibit such content as it may influence the youngsters.
The NHRC has also written a letter to the Mumbai Police Commissioner, urging the police to register an FIR against Ranbir Kapoor, the producers of the show, and OTT platform Netflix for violation of the Prohibition of Electric Cigarettes Act 2019.
Ranbir Kapoor, while interacting with a fan, a few months ago, had revealed that he has quit smoking, drinking alcohol, and has turned vegetarian. However, the vaping scene had shocked his fans as well.
