Ramayana Teaser: Makers Introduce Ranbir Kapoor As Lord Rama In A Visually Grand Glimpse; Background Music Steals The Show - Watch

Finally, the wait is over! The much-awaited Rama teaser of Ramayana featuring Ranbir Kapoor has been released. Producer Namit Malhotra took to X to share the teaser and wrote, "Rama is the greatest of all time because he lived a life where the choices he made were always in the benefit of the greater good, duty over desire, and sacrifice over self."

He further wrote, "His legacy continues to enhance and empower humanity over time and bring the belief in the goodness of the human spirit to resolve all conflict and bring peace to the world. Namit Malhotra’s Ramayana. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari. In cinemas worldwide Ramayana Part 1 Diwali 2026 (sic)." Watch the teaser below...

The teaser introduces Ranbir as Lord Rama, and well, he is suiting the part perfectly. From Rama being the most loved prince of Ayodhya to him going on Vanvas with Lakshmana and Sita, in just a few minutes, the teaser shows a few important moments from the life of Lord Rama.

What impresses us a lot in the teaser is the background music by Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman. It is simply amazing, and it will give you goosebumps.

While the teaser focuses mainly on Ranbir, we get small and blurry glimpses of Ravie Dubey and Sai Pallavi. At the end of the teaser, even Yash makes an appearance, and we get to see Raavan's beautiful Pushpak Viman.

After watching the teaser, one thing is clear that Ramayana will be one of the most stunning films we have seen in Indian cinema, and watching the movie in IMAX would be a great experience.

Ramayana Release Date

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana will be released in two parts. Part 1 is slated to release on Diwali this year, and Part 2 will hit the big screens on Diwali 2027.
