Television actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee, best-known for her role as Gopi bahu in the hit serial Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, welcomed her baby boy on December 18, 2024. On Monday, January 27, 2025, the actress shared the joyous news on her social media, revealing that she has named her son Joy.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Devoleena Bhattacharjee shared heartwarming photos with her son and husband Shanawaz Shaikh. She penned a sweet caption, saying, "Our hearts are overflowing as we welcome our newest family member. Meet JOY , our bundle of happiness!

In the photos, the actress looked beautiful in a red printed saree. Her ethnic ensemble was accompanied by silver jhumkas, sans makeup. 

In 2024, announcing the arrival of her son, Devoleena took to her Instagram handle to share the news with her fans. "Thrilled to announce the arrival of our bundle of joy, our baby boy on December 18," the new parents wrote in a video. She further added, "Thank you everyone for all your lovely wishes and blessings."

She captioned the post: "Hello world! Our little angel BOY is here 18•12•2024."

Devoleena tied the knot with Shanawaz, a gym trainer, in December 2022. The couple opted for a court marriage, which was only attended by family members and close friends.
