Salman Khan's next with director Apoorva Lakhia is one of the most-awaited films of the year. The film was titled Battle Of Galwan, but now the title has been changed to Maatrubhumi. On Monday, Salman took to Instagram to share a new poster of the film, and reveal the new title.

The superstar captioned the post as, "May War Rest In Peace #Maatrubhumi (sic)." Check out the poster below...

Battle Of Galwan / Maatrubhumi Release Date

The Apoorva Lakhia directorial was slated to release on April 17, 2026. But according to reports, the film has been postponed. The new release date is not yet been announced, and even the new poster shared by Salman doesn't have a release date.

While some reports suggested that the film might be released during Independence Day weekend, there's no official confirmation about it.

Salman Khan Upcoming Movies

While Salman's fans are excited to watch Maatrubhumi, the actor has reportedly given nods to two more films. One film will be a pan-India action thriller directed by South director Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju. Reportedly, Nayanthara has been roped in for the film.

According to reports, Salman is also in talks with Raj & DK for a superhero movie, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu is expected to play the female lead in the film.

Clearly, Salman has a great lineup, and his fans are eagerly waiting for his upcoming movies.
