MP Board Exam Results 2026: 73.42% Students Pass Class 10, 76.01% Clear Class 12; Govt Schools Outperform Private
Scheduled Tribe students performed the best overall, with girls once again leading the way. Government school outperformed private.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education announced results of classes 10 and 12 on Wednesday. As many as 73.42% students passed class 10, while pass percentage of class 12 stood higher at 76.01%.
The data shows Class 10 exam result dipped by 3% to 73.42% in 2026 from 76% in 2025. On the contrary, class 12 result slightly improved to 76.01% this time from 74.48% last year.
Scheduled Tribe students performed the best overall, with girls once again leading the way. Government school outperformed private.
Overall, 2.89 lakh students failed the exam-- including class 10 and 12 students.
Commerce student Khushi Rai from Shubhash Excellence, Bhopal topped class 12 scoring 494 out of 500 (98.8%).
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav hailed the results. He said this was the best result in the last six years. Taking to social platform X, CM congratulated all students.
"Students have set a record in the Madhya Pradesh Board Exam 2025-26. Over the past 16 years, this year's 12th grade results are the best ever. This result is a new chapter in the golden saga of Madhya Pradesh.
"Congratulations to the students who secured positions in the merit list and to all the boys and girls who passed. I salute all your teachers and parents, who contributed to fulfilling your resolve through their guidance and sacrifices. "
He wrote that the students who wish to score marks can opt for the second time examination. " For the first time in MP, a second chance exam is being conducted in place of the supplementary exam. Along with failed students, those wishing to improve their exam results can also participate. This is made possible through the National Education Policy."
