Bajaj has reduced the prices of its Freedom CNG bike within six months of its launch, making it more affordable for buyers. The base drum variant now costs Rs 89,997 after a Rs 5,000 reduction, while the middle drum LED variant gets a Rs 10,000 cut, bringing its price down to Rs 95,002. However, the top-spec disc LED variant remains unchanged at Rs 1.10 lakh. This move aims to enhance the appeal of the Freedom CNG bike in the competitive market.
Bajaj has introduced the Freedom CNG bike as a cleaner, eco-friendly alternative to traditional petrol-powered motorcycles. Designed to reduce emissions and promote sustainability, this hybrid bike features dual tanks—2 kg for CNG and 2 liters for petrol—offering flexibility and convenience. The CNG tank is integrated beneath the seat within the trellis frame, while the petrol tank is positioned forward of the seat. Both filling points are easily accessible on the fuel tank surface.
Powered by a 125cc single-cylinder engine producing 9.4 bhp and 9.7 Nm of torque, the Freedom comes equipped with a 5-speed gearbox for smooth performance. Bajaj claims impressive mileage figures of 102 km per kg in CNG mode and 65 kmpl in petrol mode, giving the bike a combined range of up to 330 km. In CNG mode alone, it can travel up to 200 km, offering a cost-effective solution for riders.
The bike includes advanced features like LED headlamps, a digital speedometer, Bluetooth connectivity, and a long quilted seat for enhanced comfort. It also boasts a mono-linked suspension, telescopic front forks, and a single rear shock for optimal handling. Safety is prioritized with a front disc brake, rear drum brake, and single-channel ABS, paired with stylish 17-inch alloy wheels. The Bajaj Freedom CNG bike sets a benchmark in sustainability without compromising on style and performance.
