Japan: Several Injured In Stabbing, ‘Liquid-Spray’ Attack In Mishima
Several people were reportedly injured in a stabbing attack in Japan on Friday (December 26). According to reports, unidentified assailant also sprayed liquid at the crowd.

Tokyo: Several people were reportedly injured in a stabbing attack in Japan on Friday (December 26). According to reports, unidentified assailants also sprayed liquid at the crowd. According to reports, 14 people sustained injuries in the attack.
As per Kyodo News agency, the incident took place at a rubber factory in Shizuoka prefecture’s Mishima city when a man attacked people with a knife. The assailant was reportedly detained. The factory is located west of Tokyo.
Some reports also claimed that eight people were hospitalised. Security forces rushed to the spot after receiving the information. The assailant was detained after the attack.

So far, there are no reports of any casualties. The motive of the attack is not yet known. The identity of the injured people is yet to be ascertained.

Sydney Beach Attack:
Earlier this month, at least 16 people lost their lives after a father-son duo opened fire at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia. The incident took place on December 14. Around 40 people were also injured in the attack.
In one of the CCTV footage of the attack, people could be seen fleeing the beach in panic. Gunshots could also be heard in the video. The clip was shot from a distance. The attack was carried out at around 6:47 pm (local time) during Hanukkah celebrations, targeting the Jewish community in Sydney.
