Noida, July 26: A shocking video has surfaced on social media in which it can be seen that a young man dressed in a saree is making an obscene reel with a police officer in Uttar Pradesh's Noida. The video has gone viral and is creating widespread outrage on social media. There are reports that the incident occurred at the Rashtriya Dalit Prerna Sthal in Noida. It is a location which is considered sensitive and symbolic, due to which the reel has triggered demands for strict action against those involved in the obscene video.
What’s in the viral video?
Two clips, lasting 54 and 52 seconds, surfaced on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) on Friday.
In the first video, a man is seen wearing women’s undergarments while dancing to a popular song. He performs suggestively around a uniformed police officer, who appears to be passively present.
The second video shows the same man dancing with another individual, again in a provocative manner, as they film a reel at the same location.
Police Action
The police said that an investigation has been launched in connection with the matter. Legal action will be taken once that location and identities of the individuals involved in the viral video is verified. The police also said that the any act of obscenity or violation of police decorum will be dealt with seriously.
Outrage On Social Media
A social media user said, "Janha mile todo wanhi aise logo ko mental ho gaye hai ye log." Another user said, "Bhart ki saskrti ko barbaad karte huye 2 pagal log."
A user named Pramod Kumar Azad posted the video on X and tagged both UP Police and Noida Police, demanding strict action. He warned, “Take strict action against those making such videos. Otherwise, if caught red-handed by us, they will be dealt with by Bhim Army. The responsibility will lie with the park’s security staff.”
