With only a few days remaining for the mega event, which will be held in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, people across the globe are expressing their excitement and interest to witness this 'Festival of the sacred pitcher'. In the wake of these festivities, a video of a foreigner building a sand model of the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 has surfaced on the internet.
British historian Nick Booker released a video explaining viewers about the upcoming event and highlighting its significance while referring to a sand model created at a beach in Goa.

The video opened to show Nick introducing viewers to the sand model of the Maha Kumbh Mela where he detailed about some of the significant features of the festival. "Namaskar everybody. Behind me you can see a virtual representation of Prayagraj", he said greeting netizens and deep diving into the details.
Showing the sand model on camera and giving a glimpse of Maha Kumbh Mela in advance, he said, "Gangotri on the right, here up in the Himalaya. We've got Yamunotri...Ganga this incredible".
Demonstrating the sand-based creation at the Goa beach, he shared how the colour of water changes when the rivers meet at Prayagraj. "This is the Sangam. So this is the place where 400 millions of people will gather", Nick stated in the footage.
He revealed that he has been studying about Prayagraj and Kumbha Mela for a while now - "reading the Vishnu Purana, Matsya Purana (and Prayagraj Tirtha), Mahabharata and Ramayana and many academic papers and books".
His video has now gone viral on Instagram and attracted more than four lakh views.
