With Yuvraj Singh turning 43 on December 12, 2024, Thursday, his long-time friend and former India teammate Mohammad Kaif showcased some of the famous moments through photos to relive their playing days. Kaif shared a video on Instagram of the two bonding and captioned, "Ye dosti hum nahi todenge.. todenge dum magar tera saath na chodenge 😜 Happy birthday champ!"

Kaif and Yuvraj played chief roles in Team India becoming a powerhouse in world cricket. One of the most defining moments of Indian cricket came through their partnership in the Natwest Series 2002 final against England at Lord's when the pair added 121 to help overhaul the total of 326 with two wickets to spare.

Yuvraj Singh was part of India's two World Cup-winning teams

One of the greatest all-rounders to don the Indian colours, Yuvraj was part of the Men in Blue's World Cup-winning teams in 2007 and 2011. The southpaw mustered 148 runs in six matches at 29.60 alongside a whirlwind 70 against Australia in the semi-final.

The 2011 50-over edition held at home saw Yuvraj snare the Player of the Tournament award for accumulating 362 runs in nine matches at 90.50 and taking 15 scalps, averaging 25.13.
