One of Team India's debutants Yashasvi Jaiswal took a blinder to get rid of Ben Duckett in the ongoing first ODI against England at the Vidarbha Cricket Association in Nagpur on Thursday. Jaiswal covered plenty of ground to see the back of Duckett, giving fellow debutant Rana his first ODI scalp.

The dismissal occurred in the tenth over of the innings as Duckett, who made a promising start. Rana dug in, bowling a hard length and the left-hander went for the pull shot. The miscued pull went towards the mid-wicket region and Jaiswal went running back and put in a full-length dive, celebrating with gusto.
Rana, nevertheless, endured a nightmare over against opener Phil Salt, who took him apart for 26 runs in an over, hitting three sixes and a couple of boundaries.

Jos Buttler had earlier won the toss and opted to bat first. Rohit Sharma said at the toss that he wanted to bowl first and announced that Virat Kohli was not considered for selection, given he had injured his knee. The Men in Blue had won the preceding T20I series by 4-1 and will be looking to wrap up the 50-over leg too ahead of the Champions Trophy.
