Pakistan's pace spearhead Shaheen Shah Afridi fulfilled a differently-abled fan's request of meeting him after day 4 of the ongoing first Test against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi. In a video uploaded by PCB's official handle on X, the 24-year-old had a wholesome interaction with the fan and thanked the youngster for meeting him.

As one of the best bowlers of the generation, the left-arm pacer has a massive fan following worldwide. However, he has struggled in this match, managing to pick up only two wickets in 30 overs as Bangladesh ground down Pakistan bowlers to take a 117-run lead to edge ahead.

Meanwhile, Afridi said the below while interacting with the young fan:

"Pyaare lag rahe ho, baal-shaal banaaye hue hain, hero lag rahe ho. Balla bhi saath laaye ho. Aapko main Lahore Qalandars ke saare matches ke liye bulaaunga. Pakistan waale match mein aana hai kal? Dekhna hai? Garmi hai toh shaam ke time aana. Mujhse milne aaye, aapka bahut shukriya Aapse main inshallah PSL ke match mein bhi milunga."

Pakistan finish 94 runs behind ahead of day 5:

The hosts were on the field for a staggering 167.3 overs and managed to dismiss Bangladesh for 565 runs. The tourists saw almost a 200-run stand accumulate between Mushfiqur Rahim and Mehidhy Hasan Miraz, with the former scoring a marathon 191.

Shoriful Islam struck in the 3rd over of the innings, removing Saim Ayub cheaply. Pakistan skipper Shan Masood survived some nervous moments to help them finish at 23/1 (10 overs) by close of day 2.
