14 years old, Ira Jadhav from Pune, has etched her name record books with an extraordinary performance in the U-19 Women’s One-Day Cup Trophy at Alur Stadium, Bangalore.

Who is Ira Jadhav?
Born on February 19, 2010, in Pune, Ira Jadhav has been passionate about cricket since childhood. A student of Sharadashram Vidyamandir, Ira gained attention last year with a remarkable knock of 182 runs off 141 balls while representing Glorious Cricket Club against Regal Cricket Club. She began her cricketing journey at the age of eight, playing in society clubs in Pune before moving to Mumbai.
Balancing academics and cricket with ease, Ira secured 80% in her school exams, showcasing her determination and discipline. Her strength lies in her powerful drives and ability to focus on her game despite a busy schedule. Recently she featured in the Women's Premier League auction but went unsold.
Mumbai’s Dominant Victory Over Meghalaya
In the match against Meghalaya, Mumbai posted a massive total of 563/3 in 50 overs, with Ira Jadhav’s record-breaking knock being the highlight. She was ably supported by skipper Hurley Gala, who scored a century with 116 runs.
Meghalaya’s batting faltered under pressure, as they were bowled out for just 19 runs. Mumbai’s bowlers Jeeya and Yayati claimed three wickets each, while Ritika Yadav and Akshaya Shinde picked up two wickets each. Mumbai’s monumental victory by 544 runs underscores their dominance in the tournament.
