IES Organises Carrom And Table Tennis Tournaments

The CISCE Zone ‘A’ Carrom Tournament was held with great enthusiasm and meticulous planning at IES ORION, Hindu Colony on Friday, 11th July 2025. The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a graceful Saraswati Vandana and a beautiful rendition of the welcome song, creating an atmosphere of warmth and celebration.

The tournament was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Shri Hiraman Shivram Bhor, President of New Hind Sports Club and Narsimha Coop credit society, and Shri Ramesh Rao, Vice President of Indian Education Society.

Also, The IES Sports Centre organized the IES Table Tennis Tournament on 12 th July,2025 (Saturday). A total of 77 students participated, marking a significant milestone as this was the first time the tournament was open to college students. The winners were felicitated by the esteemed guest Dr. Sunil Rajadhyaksha (Ex-IES & Oncologist), who also delivered an inspiring speech, sharing valuable insights with the students.
