JD McDonagh had teamed up with Dominik Mysterio to face the War Raiders for the World Tag Team Championship.

Irish wrestler JD McDonagh brutally hit the back of his head on the edge of the announce table during the World Tag Team Championship bout in the latest episode of WWE Raw. A video of the same surfaced on social media as the 34-year-old's head bounced off the announce table in lethal fashion. He also copped another hit from Erik.

The incident occurred when Ivar was at the ringside and McDonagh went for a springboard moonsault off the middle rope. Although the connection on Ivar was a perfect one, the Irishman looked to have legitimately hit the back of his head on the announce shoulder, making it for a shocking watch. Michael Cole, who was on commentary, called for someone to check on him but McDonagh was up and about in no time.

The second blow was from Erik when he performed the move that hit his knee on the back of McDonagh's head on almost the same spot.
The War Raiders retain their world tag team championship
In the end, Dominik Mysterio and McDonagh were unsuccessful in capturing the championship gold. Dominik tried to go for the 619 on Erik but the War Raiders had enough time to go for their finisher called War Machine.
They hit their move and Erik went for the cover and they won the contest, thereby retaining the gold.
