'Aisa Karega Na Toh...': Rohit Sharma & Rishabh Pant Have Hilarious Chat Over DRS During IND vs BAN 1st Test; Video
India thumped Bangladesh by 280 runs in the first Test in Chennai to go 1-0 up in the series.

Team India skipper Rohit Sharma and keeper-batter Rishabh Pant had a hilarious argument over the usage of DRS on day four of the opening Test against Bangladesh in Chennai. In a video surfaced on social media, Rohit, stationed at slip, was heard saying to Pant to give him the direction correctly.
The incident occurred in the 62nd over of the innings as Hasan Mahmud had to deal with a big spin and steep bounce from Ravichandran Ashwin. Initially, it seemed like it bounced off his elbow before Pant caught the ball, forcing India to opt against the DRS. However, replays showed that it had struck the right-hander's glove and Pant seemed to be in support of taking the DRS.
Here's the video of the hilarious conversation between Rohit and Pant:
Rishabh Pant shines with the bat but Rohit falls cheaply in both innings:
Meanwhile, Pant, who was playing his first Test since December 2022, scored an enterprising 39 in the opening dig when India had slipped to 34-4. The left-hander made the most of his start in the second innings as he slammed a swashbuckling 109 and added over 150 with Shubman Gill, who also struck a century.
India eventually set 514 for Bangladesh to win, but they folded for 234 after Ravichandran Ashwin took six wickets. Ashwin also earned the Player of the Match award for his century in the first innings. India have retained an unchanged squad for the 2nd Test in Kanpur, beginning on September 27.
