The water supply department of PMC announced that water distribution from multiple overhead tanks will be entirely halted on Thursday. These consist of overhead tanks found at Parvati, Chandni Chowk, Pashan, SNDT, Gandhi Bhavan, Chatushrungi, and Holkar. The closure is essential to enable civil, electrical, and mechanical maintenance activities designed to enhance the efficiency and safety of the water supply system.
Furthermore, significant water projects in Wadgaon, Warje, and the Cantonment area will stay shut all day long. Authorities stated that significant civil and electrical upkeep is currently in progress at these sites, rendering it unfeasible to continue normal water distribution throughout the repair phase.
Residents are urged to utilize stored water wisely and refrain from wasting it during the interruption period.
The PMC guarantees that maintenance activities are underway to provide a smoother and more dependable water supply in the near future and has requested that residents be patient and cooperate.
