Prime Conspirator In Dargah Deputy Caretaker's Murder Held In Nanded

Nanded: The investigation into the murder of Sheikh Shamim Sheikh Ishaq, the Naib Mutawalli (deputy caretaker) of the Sayyed Rahman Dulheshah Shah Dargah, a case that shook the city, has reached a decisive stage. Under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Dr Nilabh Rohan, Deputy Superintendent of Police (City Division) Rameshwar Vyanjane and his team arrested the alleged prime conspirator and the 13th accused in the case, Mirza Shabbar Beg Mirza Ghaffar Beg (36).

According to police, his arrest is likely to give a new direction to the investigation. The sensational incident took place in the Waghi Road area at around 2am on June 21. Sheikh Shamim was sitting with a friend when assailants allegedly opened fire on him with a pistol. They then attacked him repeatedly with swords and daggers, killing him on the spot.

A murder case was registered at Wazirabad Police Station. During the investigation, police had already arrested a total of 10 individuals, including the four accused who allegedly carried out the attack. Among them were Abdul Taukhir, Sheikh Sadiq, Sheikh Nazir, Riyal Salim and Zubair Khan. Police had earlier indicated that the alleged mastermind behind the murder would soon be apprehended.

Following the arrest of Mirza Shabbar Beg, police are now working to uncover how the murder conspiracy was hatched and identify all those involved.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Rameshwar Vyanjane is conducting a detailed investigation into the case. The arrest has strengthened the hopes of Sheikh Shamim's family that they will receive justice.
