WATCH: Man brandishes air gun during dispute over parking in Mumbai's Antop Hill; arrested
The arrested accused has been identified as Nitin Arora and the police seized the air gun from him. Nitin works in an event management company.
The Antop Hill police arrested a 35-year-old man on Monday night for allegedly threatening another man with an air gun during a dispute between the two.
According to the police, the quarrel started between two men when the accused's car popped up in front of another motorcycle. Apparently, the car applied sudden breaks as a result the motorcycle rider lost his balance.

The accused has been identified as Nitin Arora works in an event management company while the motorcycle owner who is the complainant as Deepak Dhillot. As per Deepak, the sudden breaks by the car could have caused serious damage to his bike and him, and he therefore sought an explanation from Arora, who was driving the car.
While the two were arguing, Arora got hyper and pulled out an iron rod from his vehicle and hit Deepak on his arms.

Case registered in the matter
“After hitting Deepak, Arora then took out an air gun from his waist and pointed it at the latter. He even threatened to kill him if he continued to argue," said an official from Antop Hill police station.
As per Deepak, he was abused, assaulted and threatened by Arora. Deepak sustained minor injuries in the quarrel, added the police.
A case has been registered under sections 324 (causing voluntarily hurt by the means of a dangerous weapon), 504 (intentional insult to provoke the breach of peace) and 506 (2) (death threat) of the Indian Penal Code.
