Actor Imran Khan was reportedly held on Saturday amid a CJP protest in Delhi seeking Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar's exit over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists. Several people were detained during the planned Jantar Mantar rally, reports said. However, Khan's detention remains unverified, and no official account of his reported detention has yet been released.

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Imran Khan was reportedly detained on Saturday amid the Cockroach Janta Party's (CJP) protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
A video purportedly showing police personnel escorting Khan into a police vehicle has surfaced on social media.
According to the report, Khan was among several protesters detained during the demonstration demanding Kumar's resignation.
The report further claimed that more than 400 people had been detained during the protest, reported India Today.
Protesters detained across Mumbai
Meanwhile, police detained protesters at August Kranti Maidan and other locations in Mumbai amid demonstrations held in solidarity with the CJP.
Earlier in the day, Mumbai Police detained activist Tushar Gandhi, Mahatma Gandhi's great-grandson, in Bandra as he was heading to August Kranti Maidan to participate in a demonstration supporting the CJP.
Police also detained Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) workers following a demonstration at Hutatma Chowk in support of the outfit.
Security tightened at key locations
Amid the demonstrations, Mumbai Police deployed additional personnel across the city and reportedly stepped up security to prevent unauthorised gatherings and maintain law and order.
Police personnel were deployed at Shivaji Park in Dadar, Flora Fountain in South Mumbai and Hutatma Chowk.
Protesters demand CEC's resignation
The protesters have demanded Kumar's resignation over alleged irregularities, vote manipulation and a lack of transparency in the Election Commission of India's revision of electoral rolls.
