The rebellion against Shiv Sena has entered its second week with rebel MLAs moving the Supreme Court. On Monday, the SC extended the 16 rebel MLAs time till July 12 to reply to Deputy Speaker's notice on disqualification. It also refused to stay the floor test until then.

The move comes after NCP and Congress-controlled ministries reportedly issued GRs for the release of funds that were worth hundreds of crores for development related works even after rebellion by Shiv Sena MLAs on June 21.
Shiv Sena says BJP wants to divide the state in 'Saamana'
In an editorial published on Tuesday in the Sena mouthpiece Saamana, Shiv Sena slammed rebel MLAs, currently stationed in Guwahati for seeking alliance with BJP. Executive Editor, Sanjay Raut also said that the saffron party is planning to divide Maharashtra into three parts.
"BJP leaders in Delhi have formulated a dangerous strategy to divide Maharashtra into three parts. BJP leaders in Karnataka have revealed the plot to divide Maharashtra into three parts, separate Mumbai and destroy the entire Maharashtra of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj," Raut penned.
Sanjay Raut to skip ED summons
Even after being summoned by ED, Sanjay Raut is set to address a workers' convention that is held in Alibag today. He will be accompanied by former Union Minister Anant Geete.
Additionally, taking to Twitter, the Shiv Sena MP also defended his 'corpses' remark. He posted a picture that says, "'Jahalat' is a kind of death and 'Jahil' people are like moving corpses."
Aaditya Thackeray says before floor tests, rebel MLAs should take 'morality test'
Maharashtra Minister was quoted as saying, "Before the floor test, they (rebel Shiv Sena MLAs) should take a morality test... CRPF, Army deployed at the hotel (in Guwahati) where there are floods. Instead, they should be deployed for Kashmiri Pandits."
Only 4 Ministers left in Shiv Sena
Sena has only four cabinet ministers left in the party after the rebellion- CM Uddhav Thackeray, his son Aaditya Thackeray, Anil Parab and Subhash Desai.
Except Aaditya, the other three are MLCs.

Rebel MLA Deepak Kesarkar alleges Sanjay Raut hell-bent on destroying Shiv Sena
In an open letter shared on Tuesday, Deepak Kesarkar called Raut the 'blue-eyed boy' of the NCP, adding that he became active in 2019 with the blessings of a strong NCP leader. He further alleged that Raut is hell-bent on destroying Sena.
Governor BS Koshyari may ask the MVA government to prove majority in the House as both the sides refused to settle the matter and stand strong, NDTV quoted its source as saying.Â
Speaking to the media on Tuesday morning, Sanjay Raut cautioned BJP leader and ex-CM Devendra Fadnavis by saying, "Many people in Maharashtra are in support of Uddhav ji. Fadnavis is the opposition leader, he shouldn't come in between the issue of rebel MLAs."
Further speaking about the SC order issued on Monday, Raut said, "It's an order for them to rest there (in Guwahati) till July 11. There is no work for them in Maharashtra."

Amid the crisis, supporters of both the clans are seen clashing at several places. Recently, Thackeray supporters have removed posters of both rebel MLA Eknath Shinde and his son Shrikant Shinde from the Dombivali Shiv-Sena office.
MLA Sada Sarvankar confirms rebel camp leader Eknath Shinde will meet Maharashtra Governor BS Koshyari today: TV reports
The report comes amid rumours of Shinde visiting Delhi to meet Devendra Fadnavis and other BJP leaders. While speaking to Republic TV, Sarvankar also confirmed that the rebel camp will join hands with BJP to form a new government in the state.
A banner, with faces of Balasaheb Thackeray, Eknath Shinde and Anand Dighe, which was seen in Guwahati yesterday, has been removed.
The banner read, "Proudly say we are Hindu" and "Shinde sir, we are with you."

Eknath Shinde confirms he is headed to Mumbai
While speaking to the media outside Guwahati's Radisson Blu Hotel, Shinde denied forming a party as they are real Shiv Sainiks. He also took a dig at Aaditya Thackeray after he said that over 15-20 rebel MLAs are in touch with them.
Shinde said, "All these people are very happy. The information coming from outside that a number of people are in touch with us- they should tell us the names. Then everyone will be clear. They are giving false information about our MLAs being in touch with them, let them take the names, they are just spreading rumours. 50 people are here on their own. Kesarkar will give you updates about our stand."
He also told the reporters that they will stick with Balasaheb Thackeray's Hindutva ideology and they will take it forward.

Maharashtra Minister Uday Samant posted a self-recorded video explaining the reason for joining the rebel camp. He said, "I have come to Guwahati as I am fed up with the conspiracy of the allies to weaken the Shiv Sena party for the last few days."
"By rejecting Sambhaji Raje Chhatrapati's candidature in the Rajya Sabha elections, the party decided to send a true Shiv Sainik to the Rajya Sabha, but the allies tried to prevent him from getting elected in that election as well," he added.
Rebel MLA Uday Samat clarifies they are not in touch with any Shiv Sena leader except Shinde
"We are only in touch with Eknath Shinde. A misconception is being spread that we are in touch with someone else. We are not in touch with any office-bearer or leader of the party."
"We came to Guwahati only with one intention- to take forward Balasaheb's ideology honestly. That's why I want to request the people of Maharashtra to not fall prey to any misconception. We are with Shiv Sena only," he concluded.

Rebel Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde on Tuesday said he will soon return to Mumbai, and rubbished Shiv Sena's claim that as many as 20 MLAs of his group are in touch with the Uddhav Thackeray-led party.
