India’s Got Latent Controversy |
Mumbai: The Maharashtra Cyber Cell has intensified its investigation into the controversy surrounding the reality show India’s Got Latent, summoning 50 prominent personalities, including celebrities like Rakhi Sawant.
So far, statements have been recorded from comedians Atul Khatri, Devesh Dixit, and Saraswat Maheshwari. While five individuals have already provided their statements, officials have yet to find concrete evidence confirming whether the show’s judges received financial compensation for their participation.
Interestingly, several witnesses have alleged comedian Samay Raina’s involvement, claiming that the show operated under his instructions. The probe has also revealed that the money collected from the audience during the show was directly handed over to the episode’s winner.
With the investigation still ongoing, the Cyber Cell is expected to issue more summons in the coming days.
