Glib Gang Busted: Four Arrested By MBVV Police For Robbing Passengers On Garib Rath Train

Four glib thieves have been arrested from the Delhibound Garib Rath train in Gujarat by the central crime unit (CCU) attached to the Mira Bhayandar-Vasai Virar (MBVV) police.
The Uttarakhand-based accused targeted women and senior citizens and robbed them by engaging them in conversations.
The gang had robbed a 50-year-old woman from Bhayandar East of her gold chain and earrings on January 2.
The police have recovered stolen gold ornaments worth Rs14.23 lakh and seized two motorcycles used to commit the crime, said police inspector Aviraj Kurhade. The probe has revealed their involvement in five offences committed in Bhayandar, Mulund, Chembur, Kandivali and Ghatkopar.
