Shocker! Woman Murders 8-Month-Old Baby & 4-Year-Old Daughter To Death In Ujjain; Has Been Mentally Unstable For Some Time, Says Family
Family members revealed that Pooja had been mentally disturbed for some time and hasn't received any treatment.

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A horrific incident was reported in Madhya Pradesh's Ujjain, a woman allegedly murdered her two daughters to death on Friday afternoon. She strangled her 8-month-old baby and a 4-year-old daughter to death.
The accused is identified as Pooja Banjara. She is suspected to be mentally unstable, as per the police investigation.
The incident The incident happened in Mahidpur town of Ujjain district around 2:30 PM, when Pooja was alone at home with her three daughters. She allegedly strangled her four-year-old daughter Uma and eight-month-old baby Anishka. The matter came to light when her husband, Ashok Banjara, returned home and found the children dead.

According to SDOP Sunil Varkade, it was the woman’s sister-in-law who first noticed the situation and informed the village chowkidar, who then alerted the police. The couple has three daughters – aged seven years, four years, and eight months. Fortunately, the eldest daughter was not harmed.
Station In-Charge NBS Parihar told that during initial questioning, family members revealed that Pooja had been mentally disturbed for some time. However, she had not received any medical treatment.
Police have registered a case and begun a detailed investigation. As of now, the accused woman has not been taken into custody. The incident has sent shockwaves in the local area, leaving neighbours and relatives in deep grief.
